When do I want kids? Now?
But how will I fair?
How will I compare to others,
who smothers their kids in kisses
Maybe I’ll just be aloof to their wishes.
When do I want kids? Next year?
But then I fear getting older,
as life’s joys grow colder
And we slowly age away.
with them I’ll have less time to play
When do I want kids? Never?
Now that’s faux clever.
They can’t say no to pain
So why do I have a right to gain
Pleasure they consented on?
When do I want kids? Soon,
I’ll be over the moon.
When biology makes the decision for me.
